Analyzing community needs
|
What started out to be community service for a grade turned into being a helping hand the rest of my senior year. My first year of high school I met Mrs. Messer and I've had her as a teacher ever since. Anytime she's needed something done I've always been what we like to say, "her legs." Doing things such as reorganizing her filing cabinets, getting her mail, making copies, and many more things. Helping her isn't about the community service hours, helping her makes me feel good because I'm making things easier for her.
This task meets the benchmark because I was able to recognize need and help in a small way. In my career I will recognize the need of bad hair and be willing to turn that bad hair into something fabulous. |
